The Volume Planet Music Institute, which was established by Herun Prasad (3 Time National Award Winner) in 1992, is currently the premier institution for the teaching of western classical music in the Capital. It caters to between 200 and 300 students annually, and provides instruction on musical instruments (Piano, Keyboard, Guitar, Drums, Octapad, Tabla, Dholak, Classical Vocal, Dance, Music Production).
